On Tuesday morning Burger Boy made a donation of $1,200 in gift cards for the amazing employees that are working behind the scenes to ensure that thousands of families are being fed.
Co-Owner Bryce Pohlmeier visited the San Antonio Food Bank to give thanks to the employees working around the clock to serve our community in a time of need. “From one essential to another,” Pohlmeier mentioned, “we appreciate the hard work the employees of the San Antonio Food Bank have done.”
Since the start of the pandemic, the number of families seeking food from distribution centers in San Antonio has doubled. Current programs are feeding over 120,000 people a week. They expect to serve roughly 180,000 people weekly in the future.
